About Us
The CORE 4: What We Do
The Core 4
Love, Connect, Grow, Serve
At The Crossing, we focus on our Core4: Love, Connect, Serve, Grow. We embrace these 4 values because we believe they best enable us to focus on the life of Jesus Christ and let Him live in and through us.
In fact, we've turned them into a simple yet deep, easy to follow track that dovetails with the normal rhythms of Christian Life.
EVERY MINISTRY WE OFFER REVOLVES AROUND THE CORE 4! Adults, Singles, Men, Women, Teens, Kids, etc. Everything we do is simple yet deep and streamlined.
We focus on GROW in two specific ways:
1) In Wednesday Services (7pm) we engage the same Scripture from
Sunday, yet on a much deeper level.
2) Weekly GROWTH track. Each week we do two take home
readings/activities designed to steep us in Scriptures from Sunday.
The result? LIFE TRANSFORMATION!
Jesus is more than the example of a servant, He is THE SERVANT in
whom all of our efforts get swept up into. In all things, we serve as if
we are serving Jesus Christ.
The best ways you can serve are to look for opportunities around you
in everyday life. Serve your friends, family members, serve strangers,
and yes serve your enemies. Serve those at your school and in your
workplace.
7TH SUNDAY OUTREACH
Every 6th-7th Sunday, The Crossing moves it's service to 9:00am,
ends at 10:00am, and breaks into teams to SERVE McCalla between
10:15am-12:30pm.
Why during church hours? People have reasons for not being at church, perhaps they've never heard about Jesus Christ, perhaps they've had bad experiences with a church. We want to win people to Jesus through authentic love and truth in action! We do all kinds of individual & community service.
Think about it! How many churches go outside their walls on a
regular Sunday basis to bless their community? At times the
Church and Christians have had a reputation for being too introverted.
We're trying to do corrective eye surgery! We want everyone around
to SEE what God is like, what His Church is like, what Christianity is
is all about. For that, they need to SEE us serving in love.
We encourage everyone to read more about the outreaches by

missional nature of our 7TH SUNDAY OUTREACH.
